Good luck edit

I hope Israel is successful in combat operations with the evil Hamas, and that the damage Hamas will do to innocent civilians is minimal. Long live Israel! Contralya 12:52, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

So the trolling begins...sigh...StockGear 16:23, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

That wasn't trolling, I was being sincere. Besides, most of the people who hate Israel are in the middle east. Contralya 21:48, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

And this is News? edit

These comments aren't news any longer. The press seems to think it's news...but the truth of the matter is that this kind of threat and talk has been going on so long, when Americans read it...it's like back ground noise. Can't you find something else to fill the page with?

Do you have an actual opinion? Would you care to leave a signature? --Quadrastreet 23:58, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ironic? edit

Does anyone else find it ironic that Hamas, who considers 'the Jew' and the Jewish state (Israel) an enemy (the enemy, perhaps), is upset because Israel has called them an enemy? --SVTCobra 23:34, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree. But I think they're probably more upset that their populace is more likely to revolt. --Quadrastreet 23:56, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Israel is cooking up something edit

Declaring the Gaza strip an official enemy, just makes it a bit more legal for what Israel is planning. The recent aerial bomb attack in Syria trying to take out the nuclear materiels supplied by North Korea may have been just a trial balloon for much bigger things to come. All of the pieces seem to be coming together for the big one. The Jewish state is facing a dilema. With Bush on the way out, and the military support from the U.S. with it, Israel will have to strike from a position of strength. If Clinton gets the U.S. forces out of Iraq as she is promising, then Israel will be hung out to dry. The only option will be to strike first. With a new leader about to take the lead in Israel I can forsee an early visit to the U.S. by the new Prime Minister, followed shortly by a major aerial attack on Iran's nuclear and primary military facilities. It will hamper them, but it will not stop the massive Shite insurgancy that will follow, not only in Iraq, but also Kuwait and Lebenon. If will be hell, but we can win if the Sunni's in Turkey and Saudi Arabia don't decide to join forces with Iran. If Al Quada succeeds in rallying Sunni's to join with their religious foes, the Shites then hold on to your hats. Would you believe $15 a gallon, that is if you can find any gas at all. No oil, no plastics, no fertilizer, no medicines, etc., etc. 2008, promises to be a scary year and it won't because of Republican versus Democrat bickering over small things like liberalism versus conservatism. It may be about how are we going to feed ourselves. Greenspan has hinted about it, if you can read between the lines. Jim Julian

Just a few things:
1. Israel does not have an election coming soon.
2. The Sunis hate the Shiites a lot more than they hate Israel.
other than that, I agree with what you said.

If anything, Clinton is more beholden to the "Jewish lobby" as a result of deals she made to get elected Senator in New York. --SVTCobra 10:09, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

ISRAEL needs to cool off. The recent spike in oil prices are one result of ISRAELI HUBRIS When will the american people wake up to the fact that uncondional congressional support for ISRAEL is making us hated the world over.Give us more informaton about the relation ISRAELI arrogance is having onthe coninued war on terrorism. CUT FUNDS TO ISRAEL? WE need to change our policy toward ISRAEL. WE THE PEOPLE CAN DO THIS by CHANGING CONGRESS. Do not buy stock in ISRAEKI companies pepole. louise winkle

While it is true that Iseael has a big lobbying group, not supporting Israel would be very bad. Besides the fact that support has been in place for many decades and can't be simply 'withdrawn', Israel is a country of good people who have been seriously wronged. And besides the ethical reasons for supporting it, if it got overrun, it wouldn't just 'disappear', there would be a serious crisis and they probably have nukes, but if they don't they have some top of the like equipment that I am sure the neighboring nations want. I am sure that only people who don't know much about the situation or sympathize with terrorists want to pull out of supporting Israel. Besides, their enemy is our enemy, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and since they would be a friend in the first place... Contralya 10:54, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
