Why do you think ABC News yanked the investigation? | 10 | 18:07, 18 September 2012 |
Man up, Cruise and face the issues. You have promoted this cult for 30 years and yet now you are hiding from the press?
Possibly, or something else, have you read up on the history of the Office of Special Affairs and List of Guardian's Office operations ?
I imagine, like any other network, there are scientologists that are employed by ABC, ABC NEWS, and ABC Entertainment divisions. There are former scientologists at other networks, who are threatened by scientologist co-workers on the job, sometimes their appearances are drastically cut--such as the actor on young and restless.
I just wonder what ABC is afraid of? Maureen Orth is a seasoned reporter, I doubt she would sensationalize any thing.
Money. That's why people do things. Scientology is used to manipulate the morality of people for profit just like all religions. Is their stupid made up story any dumber than the made up lie about some magical bully in space that says "believe in me or you will be tortured forever or killed"? Is this what a being representing good does? No. this is what evil beings do. And evil people use these self contradicting teachings of cults to manipulate their members into what is most profitable regardless of morality.
Yes, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a fascinating topic, perhaps equally intriguing is the invisible Pink Unicorn; it's really neat to substitute one of those two terms in for your various preferred deity(s) into everyday conversation and see what happens.
