April 2018 edit

@Pi zero: is there a particular reason this category is a subcategory of CAT:Space? Cheers. Green Giant (talk) 00:13, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Not that I know of. Maybe a copy-and-modify that went wrong? --Pi zero (talk) 01:27, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
I guessed as much but just wanted to check with you. Green Giant (talk) 01:43, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Adding articles edit

I realise the first four are quite morbid stories but they are about noted economists. The fifth one, I’m not sure about it but I thought it might be relevant. Cheers. Green Giant (talk) 01:55, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Internal category. Not meant to have articles in it. --Pi zero (talk) 02:19, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
I have already mentioned this: mention the reason why you think the article should have that category. Looking at the headline, I feel article should be categorised under economics, but not economists. Come to think about it: we don't add "Category:Politicians" for an article about Barack Obama.

My mistake, I didn’t notice the internal note. Green Giant (talk) 12:19, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Green Giant, Acagastya: Our current arrangement is to redirect "Economics" to Category:Economy and business, and to link that with Wikipedia's article on Economics. Which does not seem ideal. Economy and business is a section (like a section of a newspaper) that deals mostly, though not exclusively, with news about actual economies, whereas economics is an academic field of study. Should we create a category for the academic subject proper, Category:Economics? Presumably, the above list of articles would be candidates for such a category; thoughts on what else would belong in it? --Pi zero (talk) 13:07, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
