@JJLiu112: I agree with merging but I’m not so sure on what to call the merged category because the financial crisis extended over 2007-2008 but was part of a larger crisis. Some of the articles in the categories don’t necessarily fit under "financial crisis". I’m tempted to go with Category:Great Recession, which seems to be the preferred term for the overall economic woes of the time per Great Recession at EN WP. Any thoughts? Great Recession sounds good to me. There are social and economic ramifications related to the Recession. JJLiu112 (talk) 17:03, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
