are the 'cool guys' some kind of wikinews fraternity? I don't understand the purpose of this page. --SVTCobra 23:50, 5 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regardless of medium, the term journalist carries a connotation or expectation of professionalism in reporting, with consideration for truth, fairness, balance, decency and ethics - although standards can vary widely between publications. -Journalist. –Doldrums(talk) 15:10, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

about this page

edit

pls advertise this list on cooler, elsewhere so people know it exists and can add their name to it, if they wish. also, pls note on the page that this it is not an exhaustive list and that contributors to individual stories can be seen on the histroy tab. keep in mind while creating such "official-looking" pages that they will reflect on Wikinews as a whole, and will be seen by people who have little idea of what Wikis are and what Wikinews is. a lay reader seeing this page may well conclude all of wikinews is produced by the three listed users.

as for the "nice things" section, there are already trophies, WN:TEA etc. is one more unadvertised place for praise necessary? is this page the appropriate place for it? –Doldrums(talk) 11:17, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree. I have re-written this page so it looks more proffesional looking. Feel free to change or make more edits to improve this page :) FellowWikiNewsie 15:49, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
