Clinton, Obama and McCain get major endorsements
The Des Moines Register, an Iowa newspaper, gave Hillary Clinton a key endorsement Sunday; and on the Republican side, John McCain was endorsed. Another paper, the Boston Globe, also went with McCain, and Obama on the Democratic side.

Electronic voting in faces security issues
A just-published, two-month study conducted in Ohio on behest of Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, sharply criticized many of the state's voting machines. The report said that "the computer-based voting systems in use in Ohio do not meet computer industry security standards."
