This week, several changes were made to the Wikimedia API function, including:

• Ability to make full text searches (r24439, bug 10739)
• Ability to filter users by group (sysop, bureaucrat, etc.) bug 10684

It is now also possible to provide an edit summary when reverting image changes. (r24439, bug 10739)
