ArbCom inactive?

There hasn't been an ArbCom election this year. Supposedly, the new election should've arrived in July of this year, yet I've not seen much progress. Furthermore, the Wikinews:Arbitration Committee hasn't yet been updated. George Ho (talk) 10:43, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Considering exceptional circumstances

In light of recent inactivity, I have reviewed (with the approval of User:SVTCobra) an article which I made considerable edits to. This was done with the intent to have more articles published on the website, and I assure the community and admin team I remain open and willing to accept critique, revision and advice. From one Justin to another, thanks for what you do here and for your candor. Unfortunately, Wikinews is very much on life support, so we need to do what we can to encourage citizen journalism here. As someone who is not terribly active on en.wn, I support your work. Would you mind linking to which article in particular you reviewed? I think I know what it is, but it would be nice to get confirmation. —Justin (koavf)TCM 18:45, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's Russian journalist Viktor Pinchuk delivers 'Hobo Tourism' lecture in Simferopol, Crimea. 'Tis hot off the presses. Augusthorsesdroppings10 (talk) 03:10, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
