This has been sitting around for some time and it seems to me to be both stable and to widely reflect current practice. I'd like to know what people think about making it official policy, and therefore our 'go-to' link for newsworthiness on the peer review template. That would mean usurping our old content guide from that position. It's high time we tackled some of our more ancient policy pages. BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 19:53, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm fine with making it official policy. Defining newsworthiness was a recurrent topic of community discussion for as far back as I can remember, and we folded all that into the page, and in my experience it's proven itself to matching up with things in the field gratifyingly well.

I set out a bit over a year ago to draft a complete rewrite of WN:NPOV, which I've long felt was so poorly presented that when explaining our neutrality policy to people I don't link to it. It turns out to be a highly challenging rewrite and I've found lots of other things to occupy me for the past year, but it's no less needy for not having been dealt with. --Pi zero (talk) 20:08, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
