Wikinews:Water cooler/assistance/archives/2012/September

Are essays within WN scope or note?

An author of CC-licensed articles at http://salvatorebabones.com/ asked me if WN would be interested in hosting his essays. What should I tell him? --Piotrus (talk) 01:39, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikinews doesn't publish op-eds. --Pi zero (talk) 01:51, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see you asked the same question and got the same answer on the miscellaneous water cooler in late June. --Pi zero (talk) 02:01, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
See What Wikinews is NOT, and please don't waste our time by asking again. --Brian McNeil / talk 12:11, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unwell

Just to let folks know, I'm ill, the nature of which is seriously distracting and there's a good chance I won't be able to review for some unknown time (hours, days, your guess is as good as mine). --Pi zero (talk) 21:21, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I noticed that on your talk. I've looked at the Indian protests article, and resisted the temptation to fail it on truly atrocious English. We're not here to provide remedial English classes, so they may find themselves to be having a bad day in the forthcoming morning. :P --Brian McNeil / talk 21:31, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
