Add article flag

Hello Wikinews,

I am attempting to have an article published and upon review, my reviewer said that I needed to 'add article flag'. I was wondering what this refers to, and how I would go about doing it.

Thank you and regards,

Elliot Cameron

Hi! What that part of the edit summary means is the reviewer was themselves adding a template (or 'flag') to the article itself to quickly summarise what needed to be done, in addition to the detailed feedback on the talk page. In other words, you don't need to do anything. :) Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 14:48, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

Regards,

Elliot Cameron

Is this project dead?

Given how low the activity is in the recent couple of weeks and how many articles are not reviewed in time and how many articles are getting sorted out only because of the occasional reviewer flags them as "not fresh" I am feeling that the moment is near in which the community should consider the English Wikinews as crashed. Und this circumstances it would be better to close the project for preventing that userss invest their time into writing articles which are never going to be published only because there's a lack of reviewers. --Matthiasb (talk) 07:44, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, the project is not dead, and has not crashed. Your subjective impression that articles are only getting marked stale is incorrect. --Pi zero (talk) 11:54, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
