Wikinews:Proposal for new namespace "Comments"

The following is a proposed Wikinews policy, guideline, or process. The proposal may still be in development, under discussion, or in the process of gathering consensus for adoption. Thus references or links to this page should not describe it as "policy".

This page (and its related discussion pages) hold the discussion for the creation of a new namespace on the English Wikinews, namely "Comments". Users are encouarged to write their own proposals for this idea, and to discuss possible changes on the talk page of this proposal.

Proposal 1

The Talk namespace, relating to articles that are in the Main namespace (such as articles) becomes a discussion area for the article content, layout, formatting, and other editing-related discussion. The new namespace, Comments, becomes a generic discussion area about the news item where NPOV is not strictly enforced.

• General Discussion: Comments:New namespace created on English Wikinews

This proposal will also work vice-versa.
