Question from GW_Simulations: There has recently been some controversy on the English Wikipedia about the extent of ArbCom's power and influence. Do you feel that it is ever ArbCom's place to dictate policies, even against community consensus, or just to make rulings on individual cases, on a case-by-case basis? I am asking this question to all candidates --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk11:23, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is my opinion that ArbCom is to step in wherever and whenever they are requested and needed, and they have been voted by the community to have the power to make such changes. While it is not appropriate in a project of this size to make drastic and significant changes based on single cases, I think it is important that ArbCom has the right to interpret our policies as they see fit - after all they have been given a large level of trust to do so. --Skenmy(t•c•w)11:31, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
