Your nicotine article

Thank you very much for your article, Nicotine vaccination. However, I would like to address some of my concerns towards it. One thing is that it reads more like an advertisement than a news article, and the title doesn't express an event. I will help you along with developing this into an appropriate article, but take a look at some of the articles linked to on the Main Page -- that should give you an idea. I appresheat any assistance, it was short and i didnt spend as much time on it as i would have liked. I dont have much time online, and fealt it was a news peice that shouoldnt be missed, so i through it out there...If its not worked on by tomarow I will spend more time on it, following the style guid, and folowing outher curent articals...(like an add though, eh...)Zath42 01:39, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Upon further investigation of the article, I noticed that this information is hardly new: the National Institute of Health article is from 1999 and the Science Daily article is from 2003. News articles have to be based on recent events -- something that happened a week ago is perhaps the earliest accepted. Its funny that its that old. It was all over XM radio today, like it was a braking news story, so i found a cuple of articals on it and did this, i should have looked at the dates on the articals. I wonder if the news was about a development in the vacination? Though the articals seamd to concure with the news bit from the radio. Thanks for the input, i would have gone to bed (should anyway evil internet) without checking further. It seamed to strange for the radio to go on about it, though never in great depth, if it wasn't recent.Zath42 01:57, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks to my interest in the article, the article you have started is now published: University of California, San Francisco inviting tobacco users to test new nicotine vaccine.
