Welcome edit

Theory, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! Just FYI edit

You can link to Wikinews articles by putting their name in brackets. So, to reference your article, you'd type [[Vancouver Canucks Showcase New Jersey]], which makes Vancouver Canucks Showcase New Jersey. :) I just saw that you're using a full URL on your userpage, thought I'd let you know. It's easier! irid:t 10:50, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

No problem! One other thing, make sure to sign your additions to other peoples talk pages. [You forgot to on mine. :)] If you want an example of someone going insane with their userpage, check out User:Chiacomo. You can click on "edit this page" to see how he did it.
Welcome again, and have fun! irid:t 13:58, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Images in Vancouver Canucks article edit

Theory, we need more information on the source of the images, so we can determine if they are suitable as fair-use. Please update the images to include a link to the source URL. Please reply on article Talk page as well. Cheers, Jcart1534 22:20, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

The fair-use images in the article have been replaced with a free image. The two fair-use images have been listed on the Deletion Request page as they are no longer needed. Jcart1534 14:23, 1 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for sorting this out. I'm rather new to actually contributing to anything Wiki, so I appreciate what you've done.Theory 17:26, 1 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
