--SpranglingGarter (talk) 04:39, 10 August 2008 (UTC)== Stories ==Reply

We appreciate you adding stories to Wikinews, however our community is pretty small, and sometimes we won't be able to get to all the stories users start. I would recommend that you look over the above welcome message to familiarize yourself with Wikinews so you might be able to further develop your articles :-) DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 03:31, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I understand and I will try my best just like starting stories thats all and I know WikiNews is a small news community but sometime or another someone will get to the stories??? thx --SpranglingGarter (talk) 03:33, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

All depends on what interests the users and what is happening at certain times. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 03:35, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
True very True Dragonfire1024... --SpranglingGarter (talk) 03:35, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Honestly. I don't think the small REALLY local stories are going to get interest from anyone else. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 04:38, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Really...???? awww man... anyway i'll try harder.... --SpranglingGarter (talk) 04:39, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

chill on the new stories. I know you seem very excited, and I'm happy to see that. But how about you focus on working with what you got here. Instead of starting 10 new articles and leaving them out for others... How about you start one article and work it into a publishable form? Also, please go through and fill out the source templates. I dropped them in, but didn't fill them out. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 05:18, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
i'am always like this sorry its a disability but i must try to start articles you never know when someone might get sround to it. thx --SpranglingGarter (talk) 05:21, 10 August 2008 (UTC) and i'am always busy doing other things on the net. sorry --SpranglingGarter (talk) 05:21, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well I'm not saying don't start articles, but relax a bit on the number. Launching 10 articles in one day is going to end up with more than likely 10 deleted articles. Wikinews is a site for all news, but we're not big enough to handle all the stories yet. So consider picking maybe 3 _good_ stories you find and start those. Plus the nicer the articles look (Using the proper headers, templates, source tags all filled out, etc) the more likely someone is going to work on them. To be truly honest, if someone comes on to find an article with 2 sentences and no formatting, they are more likely to delete it simply because it is less work. I'm not trying to discourage you here... but maybe exercise a little moderation? Thanks. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 05:25, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I have slowed down Shakata... and maybe i will request now on??? idk or i will start an article or two never know i dont know? Thanks for the advice though... I do get carried away... --SpranglingGarter (talk) 05:27, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
