Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Brian McNeil / talk 09:11, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just wanted to say thanks for coming over and helping out some of us somewhat scientifically-challenged amateur journalists. I should obviously poke Wikipedians into hopping over here and helping out more often. --Brian McNeil / talk 10:58, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah Khukri, thanks also for your wise (and accurate) description of the doomsayers. Just one remark on that: Nicolai's quote on Roessler's paper was "this paper would not pass the referee process in a serious journal". PRD is just the acronym of a specific journal, Physical Review D, published by the American Physical Society. Cheers Ptrslv72 (talk) 13:37, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
