Great beginning edit

Hoping you don't percieve my intrusion as an imposition, I am trying to demonstrate to you the text-to-image wrap around behavior when then use of tables is not present. -Edbrown05 19:10, 22 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I just got back from an errand and got your message. You responded to my previous message in the 'proper way' it's done around here... but your signiature was missing. You sign by concluding with 4 tildes (~~~~) which leaves your user name. I checked the 'History' tab at the top of my 'Talk' page to be certain it was you.
I addressed your format concern in the SUNY story, I hope, by removing the table mark-up language. -Edbrown05 20:51, 22 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for not reacting negativly edit

I Give you this wikiflower for not reacting badly to Amgine's comments about the Hundreds of SUNY New Paltz students demonstrate story, but instead talking calmly about different user's issues in regards to that story, and not starting a flame war. Sinceerly Bawolff ☺☻

Your question edit

I will have a look in a few minutes; unfortunately, our population as a whole is drifting ever more toward the application of polarized labels and categories which are adversarial. It's something you will have to live with for a long, long time. It's an embracement of conflict as the preferred condition and has been promoted by totalitarian regimes throughout history as a way to fertilize enemies, thereby causing the sheep to rush to the side of the protector State. Bastardized Hegelian philosophy is alive and well in the halls of power; good vs. evil, christian vs. muslim, conservative vs. liberal, socialist vs. capitalist, student vs. school, thesis vs anti-thesis= synthesis...and the scary thing is, our leaders really believe in it; so it's only to be expected that your school's wiki would be inaccurately labeled as being on 1 side or the other by one of our average citizens; the ability to think and reason is an endangered entity. Also placed on Neut's talk page: I considered that when I made the change. My view was that the Wiki, while techincally open to submission from others, in its current form represents the view of mostly students. Any evidence to the contrary would be appreciated and of course warrant another look. Perhaps raise the issue on the talk page and see what consensus decides? --Wolfrider 03:13, 25 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Keep up the good work edit

Just a note to say that I'm also really glad you've engaged so constructively with Wikinews over your student protest story. I personally feel it's very positive to have some original reporting on the site, and I'm glad that you've turned to Wikinews to try and give this issue a wider public profile. Please keep up the good work! --Rcameronw 11:30, 25 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
