Sadly on 23 November 2024 at 3:25 am suicide was attempted by a 11 year old mentally unstable Russian national boy. Just seconds before this attempt his neighbours report hearing loud noises at night. The management came to inspect the area and what they say was truly horrific. Since they had keys to every flat. Once they came in the saw 11 year old maksim medvedev hanging on the balcony and about to let go. Maksim had a history of being mentally unstable aggressive and highly depressed. Maksim had an　abusive father and went to IMS an extremely strict school. The Montessori system was not working on maksim he was constantly bullied and abused by his dad and his teachers. On that day maksim had an appointment with a psychologist at OTP Central. We don’t know any further information about the phycologist. Maksim was later stopped by the one of the management officers and was quickly transferred to a hospital where doctors say he had suffered severe trauma from both his dad and his school. Maksim ended up surviving and was later released back to manhattan. Maksim was in rehabilitation before. First time for attempted suicide in shek o second time for being caught drinking alcohol and smoking weed By the police.

 The Hong Kong police and Manhattan management will do further investigation to see if they can ensure Maksim’s safety throughout his Manhattan stay in Manhattan
