Yesterday, a United States jury in Washington, DC convicted four members of the Proud Boys, including Enrique Tarrio, who CBS News identified as its former leader, of charges including seditious conspiracy related to the 2021 US Capitol attack.

The District Court jury, with Judge Timothy Kelly presiding, found Enrique Tarrio, Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl and Dominic Pezzola guilty on multiple charges, including obstructing an official proceeding, obstruction of Congress, obstruction of law enforcement and destruction of government property.

Tarrio, Nordean, Biggs and Rehl were also found guilty of seditious conspiracy, the most serious of the charges. Pezzola's seditious conspiracy charge resulted in a hung jury; however, he was the only defendant convicted of assaulting officers.
