On Tuesday, the US Navy awarded the Distinguished Public Service Award to US actor Tom Cruise.
The award was for his "outstanding contributions" to the military through his appearances in military-related film.
The success of the 1986 action drama film Top Gun, which Cruise starred in, inspired a lot of people to join the military.
