Death by a thousand paper cuts?

Why aren’t the hundreds of federal agencies more concerned about enabling these new residents with background check clearances and legal employment status? I was born here and worked very hard for decades and frankly, am amazed at the apparent incompetence of the current administration. Hey how about this: put a Latino in the White House.
