Older Reactor technology
Why was Japan using older reactor technology from the US when they could have built something much more advanced themselves?
And why do they need an external power line in the first place? I'm sure enough of the reactors are still working in some capacity that they would be able to deliver power to their own cooling systems. My dad didn't even have a PHD in physics and he was able to point this out from his short time working with nuclear reactors. Perhaps the reactors are already too far gone for them to consider the easy way? 66.154.183.15 (talk) 17:02, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
