Perhaps I don't understand Australian currency but should this not be A$0.65 on a litre not A$0.065. If this latter is correct I say big deal I pay £1.33 - up 25p in a year or so!
In response to some of the other opinions although I agree that putting oneself at a distict disadvantage by heavy taxation is not the way to tackle climate change, I must stress that there is no question about the reality of the phenomenon. Companies are sponsoring me to research ways to make renewable, potentially carbon neutral biogas more viable; this IS a real problem
