um...Why does NATO have oil tankers?

To deliver fuel to NATO forces in Afghanistan. But you wonder, why are they sending poorly defended supply vehicles in areas that are controlled by the Taliban instead of flying it in. --KDP3 (talk) 01:13, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Its probably prohibitively expensive to fly it it. After all, kerosene ain't cheap, I mean you're not going to burn 10000 gallons of kerosene to deliver 1000 gallons of diesel
