Best Batsman OF India

He was one batsman who was amongst the most entertaining to watch, Very well played in ODI ,T20 and especially in Test cricket. It is quite funny that a batsman with such technique was more at home in tests and scored the only triple century (and twice) by an Indian. He may not be the greatest batsmen, but he certainly is a great entertainer. He wasn't a blind slogger as many tend to think, for, if it was true he wouldn't be able to score two triple centuries and average nearly 50.

We need some batsmen such as sehwag and gilchrist along with the dravids' to enliven test cricket.

The following two quotes would broadly reflect his idea of playing cricket and why he played with such gay abandon

"See the ball, hit the ball. I don't care about the bowler because I don't have to hit the bowler. I only play the ball".

I also want to thank everyone for all the cricketing advice given to me over the years and apologise for not accepting most of it! I had a reason for not following it: I did it my way!
