Not just about climate

I'm not particularly concerned about climate change, but I'm sick of brown-outs and high energy costs. You make up for the higher up-front investment (even with LEDs at their current price) within a few years; and you don't have to replace them every 6 months like incandescents. It just makes so much financial sense to switch to a more efficient bulb.
