Not needed

I don't see the point of this template. This is not Wikipedia, where we specifically have to label an article as being about a current event. Any recently published story is subject to possible updates. It would probably make more sense to work on a Wikinews:Update policy, if we don't already have one somewhere, to clarify when an update should be made to an existing article, and when a new one should be started.--Eloquence 11:13, 24 August 2005 (UTC)

• I actually found this template when dealing with a related problem: An article was updated by creating a new article, so I was looking for a template to point at the newer article. Another variation of update handling needs. (SEWilco 17:28, 29 August 2005 (UTC))
