Template talk:Non-com

I do not believe this is compliant with Wikimedia policy. Noncommercial images are not Fair use. -- NGerda 17:58, July 10, 2005 (UTC)

This template seem to be against current spirit of wikimedia projects, which is to provide content to use and reuse, including for commercial reasons. As such, non-commercial images are not okay. This is doubly non okay as these images are taken from another media source. Please delete such images. Anthere

Missing a div

edit

{{Editprotected}} Hi!

I think the template is missing a </div>. See File:Marianne Heida.jpg as an example. The "Permission" field does not show all info.

Also I think that [[Category:Unfree images|{{PAGENAME}}]] can be removed per Wikinews:Water_cooler/assistance#File_clean_up_to_do_list.

Finally I do not see that the instruction to add {{non-com|fair=use}} does any difference. --MGA73 (talk) 15:22, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Done but please check my work. I am not a coder in any way shape of form. I didn't remove the instruction bit. Does it do harm? --SVTCobra 16:26, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you User:SVTCobra. I think you added it the right place. You did not remove the category. Was that on purpose? --MGA73 (talk) 18:26, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Non-com" page.
