19 April

No disrespect but that Wikipedia threat thing is minor news. Can we make that 2nd/3rd/4th lead? Don't want to be arrogant either but I think our biggest story at the moment, a lead on CNN and SkyNews and on the front pages of S.A. Times, Reuters and BBC News, is Zimbabwe begins vote recount. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Harris Morgan (talkcontribs) 18:11, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

No prob. -   Done - Moved the Wikipedia/California threat story to Lead 4 and the Zimbabwe recount story here to Lead 1. Cirt - (talk) 18:42, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wish

edit

I wish there was a way to alter the width of the text without altering the width of the image. Vertical (portrait style) images become to big or the text is too narrow. Cheers, --SVTCobra 23:52, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spelling Mistake

edit

In the lead it says "Myanamar" instead of "Myanmar".

The gaza lead reads "at least at least". Circeus (talk) 18:36, 28 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Headline

edit

The word "on" should change to "in" to more objectivly deifne the fighting ("on" is the wording chosen by AlJazeera, while all other international media uses "in"). The fighting isn't for/on Gaza, but is taking place in/around Gaza.

The date in the lead about the surge in U.S markets states has an error in the day. It states the the rise occurred on Tuesday, when it actually occurred on Monday. The article itself also has this error.

Oops. Thanks for the heads-up, this error was due to time zone differences. I would fix it, but it's time to update the headlines anyway, so I'll change the story instead. Thanks. Tempo di Valse ♪ 22:15, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
