Copy edit edit

Hi, I did some copy editing. As usual, please make sure that I didn't accidentially change the meaning of anything. Oh, I wasn't sure about this sentence: "In the past, some of Taiwanese companies had agencies and foundries to international factories." The operative seems to be missing. What did the agencies and foundries do? Did they outsource to internatial factories? Or did they deliver to international factories? It isn't clear. Cheers,--SVTCobra 14:22, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • Agency = A Taiwanese company agented world-class company outside of Taiwan.
  • Foundry = Similar as agency, but those Taiwanese companies produced AV-media products with their own agented world-class company.
OK, I think I understand, the Taiwanese companies served as agencies and foundries. --SVTCobra 14:39, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Also, you use the term "self-made brands" a couple of times. I don't think you mean self-made, as in a guy making a TV in his garage. Do you mean local brands, as in Taiwanese brands? --SVTCobra 14:47, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yes, local brands "exclusively" created in Taiwan. That's Taiwanese Brands, not the brands with agencies. Brock contact... 16:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I think I got it now. Thanks. --SVTCobra 18:09, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]
