Spelling errors, grammarEdit

There are spelling errors and grammar issues in some of the questions and answers. Not sure what to do about the answers but perhaps add [sic], or to modify the questions after the fact. Cirt (talk) 20:50, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

The answers came back with no punctuation whatsoever, so we have to provide that and can modify it if we one of us (me) messed it up. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 22:06, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Questions

How do you approach a match as an underdog without giving up immediatly?

Spelling error in word - "immediatly".

Your website says that in playing darts live on tv and defeating the world number one at the time - Gary Anderson - you have achieved two of your aims. What are your other aims, and when do you hope to achieve them?

"tv" should be either "TV", or "television".

Answers

Not as well as I would have hoped, but I wont let that rock my confidence.

"wont" should be "won't"

No, I was more exited about it more than anything. I had previously played top players before and won so i knew i could cut it out with the best.

I am guessing by "exited" he meant "excited" here?
Instances of "i" should be capitalized "I".

That would be a great achivement. If I could make this another good run in this years world championship [that] would see me there. I think i can do it.

"achivement" is spelled wrong, should be "achievement".
again, issues with lower-case "i"...

I would proberbly go in to the plumbing trade.

"proberbly" I am assuming here is meant to be "probably"

These issues should have all been dealt with, before the article was published. Cirt (talk) 22:16, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I agree it should have been dealt with before, but I don't think there is any ethical problems with fixing obvious spelling/grammatical errors in the responses ... as long as we don't change the wording. --SVTCobra 23:17, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

FormattingEdit

It'd also be nice if this were formatted like our other interviews. --SVTCobra 21:26, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I'll try it now I have more time, but my connection is somewhat unreliable (could die at any time, or I could get found on it and kicked off). Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 21:32, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

PhotoEdit

If you are in e-mail contact with Shepherd, may I suggest that you ask for a photo and ask him to release under cc-by-25 or other license that is acceptable at Commons. That would be great for illustrating the article. Other interviewees have very forthcoming on this issue. Let me know if you need help obtaining an Commons:OTRS ticket. Cheers, --SVTCobra 23:11, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I did put it to him at the same time as sending in the questions, but he ignored that bit completely. I would be unamazed if he never even realised, but if anyone fancies a second crack his email is kirkdshepherd AT hotmail DOT com (no issues revealing it; it's published on his website).
