Director of nursing for a large encampment east of Dallas, encampment served about 19,000 campers this summer alone....interview conducted on final day of camp for this summer. According to interviewee, hers is one of the top 5 encampments of it's type in the U.S.

Q: Has your camp had any cases of West Nile virus this summer? A: "No."

Q: Have you guys taken an special precautions with campers/staff? A: "No."

The world is hot now. You can't go hide in a hole somewhere."

Headline?

I need to meditate on this (if I can get my brain up to speed), but on first consideration it seems the interview angle of this article is crucial in its bid for newsworthiness, and therefore the headline needs to somehow integrate that angle. My sense is, how well we pitch this can make a huge difference in how well it works. --Pi zero (talk) 22:31, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

I feel you.....and, essentially, I tried to show that, geographically speaking, different people in different parts of the state had differing opinions/actions amidst the situation, know what I'm shooting for? Now, one needs to PUNCH THAT VERY HARD, and I tried to do that. But people say what they say, and after all, I am a civic journalist, so my digging/prodding/probing skills may be a bit narrow. --Bddpaux (talk) 00:15, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
