Talk:Water level rising in Chinese rivers, further flooding expected
Hey, I checked the sources (see edit remark on article), and was a bit surprised not to find anything on "fears of further damages" in any of the articles (must admit I didn't check the oldest). However the most current is titled "China: Rising waters look threatening", so I guess that supports the sentence. Nice article by the way! Regards Sean Heron (talk) 21:21, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
P.S. A current article I found on Xinhua: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-06/19/content_8396193.htm
And another. This one refers to 110,000 people sucessfully evacuated. Would those be the same 110,000 referred to in the article ? Sean Heron (talk) 21:30, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Don't forget to add the source when you make an update. Cheers, --SVTCobra 22:53, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
I had intended to, sorry :). Thanks for noticing! By the way, do you understand the 72,000 as 72 of the 110 thousand were relocated in Wenchuan County? I guess the Xinhua article is ambigous in that matter, so we might do best to just do the same and leave it as it is... Regards Sean Heron (talk) 22:59, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Wenchaun is within Sichuan, so I assume it is a subset, but due to the source's wording, I cannot be sure. Cheers, --SVTCobra 23:10, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
