editI made too many changes to give this an independent review. --SVTCobra 22:32, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Anyway, SVT, maybe next time we could have "ignored" the rule. It's not as if you had changed in essence the article. Just an oppinion, to avoid too much bureaucracy. - Julián (reply) 22:55, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- True. I have critized others for the same thing, and I was teetering on this one. In the end I opted for another set of eyes to look it over. Cheers and thanks for doing it so quickly. --SVTCobra 23:05, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks to both on working on the article. --PatrickFlaherty (talk) 23:22, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I've advocated Wikinews is not a bureaucracy. In fact, it's on Spanish Wikinews "What Wikinews is not", where it says: "In detail, Wikinews is not a legal system. Disagreements should rather be discussed and consensus achieved than having processes and rules. Some processs currently exist to mediate disputes among users, but not on the base of juridical remedies." - Julián (reply) 23:51, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- I agree completely with you but I've been criticize several times that changing more then a few words is too much. The system is clearly not working when we have reviews siting for more then 12 hours. --PatrickFlaherty (talk) 23:53, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid the system may be abused by filibusters; and sincerely failing a review because of "style", for example, is on the verge of complete lack of common sense. - Julián (reply) 03:09, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- That doesn't seem to be relevant for this article, so maybe bring it up at the Wikinews:Water cooler. Cheers, --SVTCobra 03:17, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
