Latest comment: 17 years ago by Skenmy in topic Spoken Wikinews

Hi. I come from the Inkscape community. The software is not released yet. But it wont be more than a few days. Greetings --SvonHalenbach 19:42, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

But due to the slashdotting, it's available for the big platforms now. -- Botty

News? edit

Is this news or self publicity? In any case it needs a second paragraph along the lines of this (from W:Inkscape):

Inkscape started in 2003 as a fork of the vector drawing editor Sodipodi. Inkscape does not yet have as many features as the best commercial vector editors, but it is currently suitable for a wide range of applications. Inkscape's implementation of SVG and CSS standards is incomplete; most notably, it has not yet implemented SVG filter effects, animation, and SVG fonts. Inkscape is currently under active development, with new features being added regularly.
