A couple of problems edit

I don't know the story well enough to fix my concerns, but I am not going to resort to disputing or unpublish the article right now. However, a couple of things concern me about the article.

Firstly this section: Circuit City isn’t the only electronics retailer in trouble as Tweeter is closing up its stores too after filing for bankruptcy a year ago. Other retailers are also cutting back. CompUSA closed most of its stores during the holiday season in 2007. It seems repetitive, and seems (to me) to paraphrase the PC World article. It would be quite embarrassing if Wikinews was caught paraphrasing.

Secondly, the analysis of the cause of the difficulties in the closing paragraph: Wikinews convention requires analysis to be attributed in the text of the article, as there is always an alternative explanation.

Could you propose a rewrite of the sections that concern me?

No-one has chipped in with improvements. To be on the safe side, I opted to delete the troublesome sections. You can find them in the article history if you want to restore an improved version of that material. Thanks for bearing with me. --InfantGorilla (talk) 10:31, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
