Why the Secretary of Homeland Security?Edit

I've just started an article at w:Public health emergency (United States). But the sources I quote there say that a public health emergency is declared by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (logically enough). In fact, one source specifically denies that Homeland Security makes this declaration.[1] Can someone explain? Mike Serfas (talk) 01:27, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

The statement came from the White House, and Janet Napolitano is the one that at least made the announcement. I watched the conference so I can confirm it was her. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 01:37, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah, here is the answer.[2] I thought Sebelius had been confirmed already, but apparently not. Mike Serfas (talk) 06:19, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Adding Category:Michael BloombergEdit

This article is missing the Category:Michael Bloomberg tag, may someone with sufficient permission please add the tag. Cocoaguy (talk) 18:03, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
