"Although it is not officially winter yet"....

  • Define starting of winter. Although the winter solctice has not yet occured, i think its safe to say its winter (traditioanlly, i think dec 25 = middle of winter, as opposed to start of winter). Bawolff 06:11, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Most articles/newscasts have said something similar about winter being two days away. I think it's arbitrary date that really has no meaning but alas most of the world probably disagrees with us. --PatrickFlaherty (talk) 10:56, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I've changed it to "winter solstice" to make it more clear. Tempodivalse [talk] 15:10, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Photos edit

I'll have some photos once it becomes light enough to actually take a photo. --PatrickFlaherty (talk) 10:57, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hold on edit

Hold back on reviewing this for a bit, I have some info to add –Juliancolton | Talk 14:21, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I was about to push the review button but saw your comment at the last second. :-) I'll see if I can round up some more East Coast contributors, perhaps we can do a collaborative OR with pictures, etc.? Tempodivalse [talk] 14:25, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
That's a good idea. The snow should be starting here any second, so I can do my share of reporting. –Juliancolton | Talk 14:26, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Would anyone object to replacing the unrelated snowfall image with a satellite/radar shot of this system? –Juliancolton | Talk 14:46, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good. Tempodivalse [talk] 14:47, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Found something even more informative, I think. –Juliancolton | Talk 15:10, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
