Fantastic edit

This is some fantastic writing, even if it weren't original research. Bravo! -- Zanimum 18:21, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I second the congratulatory remarks about this article. The whole follow-up e-mail interview is a lot of original work. I salute you, Jcart. --SVTCobra 23:08, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the kind comments. I enjoyed writing this one. The e-mail interview wasn't a follow-up actually, it was just part of the research prior to writing the article. I found while researching the issues I had a lot of questions, so I thought I would simply ask for clarification. For my first OR I think it turned out well. The editing by Doldrums and DragonFire1024 certainly helped! Cheers, Jcart1534 23:46, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Good work edit

I like this article, and it is accompanied by detailed notes on the Collaboration page. On the other hand I hate the fact that there are still parts of the world where people run around with guns and rob and kill each other for no reason other than selfishness. If you want to use Religion as an excuse, might I suggest you pick your knuckles up off the ground and look at the calluses on them?

Half the problems in the world seem to stem from religious differences and I am very glad to say the fastest growing religion in the world is Buddhism. Check your recent history, the worst that you'll find is monks protesting by committing suicide. Covering themselves in petrol and sparking a match. They don't take anyone with them, their peers may respect their decision to protest in such a way - but will not condone it. The sooner the nut-jobs that believe in Radical Christianity and Radical Islam blow themselves and each other up - the better. --Brian McNeil / talk 20:38, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, I'd say that Buddhists using human skulls as drinking vessels and thigh-bones as blow horns is pretty bad. See here: Human bone smuggling racket uncovered. No religion should have a holier-than-thou attitude, including Buddhism. --SVTCobra 23:04, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I know what you mean about the selfishness of those that would rob a humanitarian aid convoy. But what also struck me about this story is just how many aid workers/volunteers there are in that part of the world. Hats off to them and all the hard work they do. -Jcart1534 01:15, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just want to say... edit
