Talk:U.S. issues warning of terrorist attacks in India

Has the US govenment become terrorists?

The home Minister is right, It's a very vague warning. Put in plain sight, not covertly from government to government. The act in itself is odd at best. Instilling fear in the public without any proof or specififics of any kind?

Now, please, I'm not flame baiting here. This is an honest question. And this is under the Discussion area. I am genuinely curious of how "tail wagging the dog" this is.

There are plenty of channels they could have put this information thru without instilling F.U.D in the public. And before you bring the "people have a right to know, and this way we can prepare". I ask you, how can you prepare for somthiung you have no specifics on? What could the public possibly do? nothing, just go about there day as usual. If you live in fear, than havent the terrisists won?

This move from the US seems to have no benifits other then for itself shouting "hey, we 'might' know somthing so get really scared". which in definition is promoting terrorism. Or am i missing somthing? Greenknight 16:38, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages are the discussion page for what would help improve the article, not a chat about the events reported on - we do try to discourage speculation on talk pages as it just helps divide people into factions. --Brian McNeil / talk 16:46, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
