Stale?

If this article is unlikely to be published due to its staleness then please do not delete it. Please archive it instead if possible. Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 02:32, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately that's not how it works. We only archive that which we publish, after it is published. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 02:33, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Though your story can't appear in our archive, you can, however, typically move an unpublished article to your userspace (or we can move it on request) where it is usually safe from the memory hole deletion, unless it is spammy. You could keep it there until you get an update on the story (a development or an interview perhaps) that helps you to make a case for it being newsworthy again.
  • There have been several decent articles go stale this week as reviewers have been relatively inactive (and there has been more material to review - which is great if we could only plan for it!)
