Is it US English to name somebody to something? I'm struggling a little, here. Surely you would in this case be named among; alternatively, renamed to, or named on? BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 11:12, 29 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm no further forward on if this is US Eng or what it is. BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 14:59, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Fwiw, the interpretation that comes naturally to me is that "Most Influential Teens of 2015" is the name of a list, and Ahmed Mohamed was named to that list. I wouldn't have thought that a US thing, although I suppose it could be one of those subtleties of usage that varies in odd ways between regions (not particularly likely to correspond neatly to sides of the pond), like whether a sports team can be treated as plural. --Pi zero (talk) 15:07, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Over here I'd expect to be added to a list. BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 15:13, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
