Talk:Thaksin still pervades Thai political landscape
NPOV
editI removed the {{NPOV}} tag added by an anon after getting a second opinion from someone in IRC. Yes, it doesn't show Thaksin in a good light. At one point there were six arrest warrants outstanding for the man, he was given a bill for millions (billions of Baht) for unpaid taxes, ousted by the military while at the UN, and finally found guilty of corruption. But, what's not to like about the guy? --Brian McNeil / talk 15:46, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- "Haunts" in title
- "Despite conviction in-absentia, Thaksin colours Thai politics, and has derailed efforts to stabilise the country's political institutions. Says who?
- The author also believes that Thaksin kicks puppy dogs for fun. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.75.93.110 (talk) 21:04, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Pervades?
editWTF? Pervades is not a synonym for haunts and there is a huge loss of nuance in the title change. For the record I strongly object to this being renamed to such a wishy-washy title so late after publication. --Brian McNeil / talk 08:11, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- Not only is the rename to a less meaningful title, it broke the Facebook updater and this article has now been posted twice on facebook - days apart. --Brian McNeil / talk 08:37, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
