Talk:Suicide bombers blast two Bangladeshi cities
Latest comment: 18 years ago by Nil Einne
I have received two unsolicited emails from user User:Neutralizer regarding this article.
- Title: blatant pov
- "just noticed this;...."'PROBABLY'" the work of suicide bombers" is a quote in the story. The title says "Suicide bombers blast two Bangladeshi cities" stating it as a fact that it was suicide bombers.....this is exactly my point Brian; we need to apply the same NPOV diligence when it comes to what the other side is accused of as we do to what our side is accused of. Please correct the title of this story if you agree with me".
The second is a duplicate, which I believe was probably a mistake.
I will not take action on behalf of a blocked user, but have put the above here for review by the community. Brian McNeil / talk 16:00, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
- I realised the error before I had a chance to ammend. Updated the article to reflect more recent information.--elliot_k 18:43, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
- While I agree we need to be diligent and need to be sure they are suicide bombers, the issue of NPOV doesn't come up. Either it was due to suicide bombers or it wasn't. It is simply a matter of determining the cause of the explosions and showing that the bombers killed themselves as part of the attack. Whether they are terrorists or not however is a much more NPOV issue obviously. Nil Einne 21:09, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
