I thought St. Patrick's Day was observed on March 15 this year. TheCustomOfLife - (talk) 06:45, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

As did I. The current week (17th - 23rd of March) is Holy week for the Church (Easter is kind of early this year). Holy week takes precidence over any individual saints day. So... there is no St Patricks day this year. Although I believe Ireland moved the celebrations back two days, so it could be held on the 15th, outside of Holy week. 217.43.213.85 14:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
