Comments by reviewer: Minimal length for a standalone article is generally considered to be three paragraphs with total text equivalent to three medium-sized paragraphs (though the text doesn't have to be evenly distributed amongst the paragraphs). I'd say this wants at least another sentence or two of text, and of course there's the paragraph count. The lede should give a short-and-to-the-point summary of the focal event by succinctly answering as many as reasonably possible of the basic questions about it. In summarizing the focus it should establish newsworthiness; and there's a rule of thumb that if the lede doesn't contain a "day" word (either "today", "yesterday", or the name of a day of the week) it probably doesn't establish newsworthiness — this is because newsworthiness calls for a specific event, so the answer to basic question when can be pinned down to a particular day, and newsworthiness calls for a recent event, so the day named will use a relative date. There appear to be, at least, several passages of on the order of maybe half a dozen words sequentially identical to one or another source. • Above review picks up on a number of points I've partially addressed in doing some copyediting. A touch more back story on the aborted launch would easily fill out a third paragraph; as would more detail on the launch rocket (is it a rocket, or a vehicle, if it lands?). --Brian McNeil / ^talk 22:01, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
