The start list and the results were e-mailed to scoop. Raystorm live tweeted her notes for some of this at https://twitter.com/msefi . The award ceremonies can also be verified at commons:Category:IPC Alpine World Championships as Raystorm attended those while I uploaded a lot of pictures. There are three audio files that also support this:
Using a description like "delivers surprises" in the headline can work, if it's done right; but the article needs to make it crystal clear what the surprises are, and make it clear that it's fair to describe them as surprises (so the claim that they're surprises doesn't become a POV problem).
What exactly are the surprises?
The lede has to explain what happened; that's one of the basic questions. It shouldn't be giving all the details, that's what later paragraphs do, but by the time I've read the lede I should understand broadly what the "surprises" were.
Presumably, details of the surprises come in later paragraphs; but it should be clear, as one reads, which additional details are "surprises" and which are additional details about the day, but are not additional surprises.
If possible, please address the above issues then resubmit the article for another review (by replacing {{tasks}} in the article with {{review}}). This talk page will be updated with subsequent reviews.

No idea how Andrea Rothfuss got listed with a bronze in the article, when the sheet and the image caption agreed it was Inga Medvedeva.
I tried listening to one of the audios provided on the talk page, and just couldn't follow it. Given a transcript I'm pretty certain I could verify whether or not that was what was said, but as it was, just couldn't calibrate.
The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.
