Talked to Paul Bird following the interviews we did. He said Julie Tuala, the chef de mission for Samoa is a lawyer. She and her husband are both very into weightlifting. That and the local culture are part of the reason she is working so hard on powerlifting. The pair wanted to make sure they got their grant request into the IPC before the Games concluded.--LauraHale (talk) 12:50, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

and, for what it's worth, these last few Paralympics articles have seemingly neglected "related news" and "sister links" sections, which I feel add a nice rounding out effect. --Bddpaux (talk) 02:37, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
It was in the article text between comments. The cost of his leg falls into one of these areas where it is pretty much common knowledge that these run between $15,000 and $40,000 a leg. Not doing related news and sister links and haven't been because of time crunch issues. As the cost information is common knowledge and inline in the text and that is not required to put related (hence the Paralympic sidebar), going to resubmit. --LauraHale (talk) 08:53, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
