Talk:Romania switches to Winter Time

After reading this article twice, I can't figure out what's so significant about Romania? Many other countries, not just Romania and others in Europe, such as the United States and Canada, are falling back an hour at 3:00 AM -> 2:00 AM tonight. -TLH

Well I found it interasting that it happens at 4:00 → 3:00 unlike here where it is 2:00 → 1:00. The part about the history of its adoption in romainia was also interasting. and I don't even live there(or on that side of the globe). Wikinews is not just global news as well, Local news is also an important part of wikinews. As for why Romainia, our Romainian reporter was the first person to write about this. Perhaps most of this story should be an article on Wikipedia instead of a news story. However, I'm inclined to say this is a good example of first-hand journalism and as such should remain -- But what do I know? Karen 19:28, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
